Is it free to list stock on StockSeller?

Yes. Listing is completely free and there are no seller fees, no commission, and no monthly subscription. You receive the full asking price you set on every sale.

How does the offers process work?

Buyers send an offer on any live listing. The seller reviews and accepts or declines. When an offer is accepted, the buyer receives an invoice for the offer price plus a 12% buyer’s premium (plus 20% VAT only when the seller is VAT-registered). Once paid, contact details are released so both parties can arrange collection or delivery.

When do I get paid as a seller?

Once the buyer confirms they are happy with the stock (or automatically after 14 days from payment if no issues are raised), we release your payout — the full buy price you set. All sales are final and non-refundable upon payment.

Are buyer and seller details private until a deal is done?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Names, emails and phone numbers are fully masked from both sides. Contact information is only revealed once the invoice has been paid — not before.

Question 5

What stock can I list?

Accepted Answer

Any legitimate UK clearance, surplus, bankrupt, returns, or job-lot stock. We do not allow counterfeit, stolen, illegal, or age-restricted goods without appropriate documentation.

Do you charge VAT on the offer?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If the seller is VAT-registered, 20% VAT is added on top of the offer amount and itemised on the invoice. Non-VAT sellers are priced gross (no VAT on goods). Either way, the seller receives their full offer amount — no seller fees, no commission deducted.

Who arranges collection or shipping?

That is agreed between buyer and seller once contact details are released. Listings will state whether the seller offers collection, delivery, or both.
